Coming to the Yukon on Business?
Mix business and pleasure in the Yukon

Plan Your Trip:
Coming to the Yukon on Business?

If you're coming to the Yukon for a business trip or conference, there's no better excuse for a fun getaway to take full advantage of all Yukon offers. Plan extra time to visit unique attractions, enjoy scenic wilderness and participate in exhilarating Yukon adventures. Where else can you go dog sledding by day and dine on grilled arctic char in front of a roaring fire at night?

You are planning a conference or a business meeting? Why not hold it in Yukon. Groups heading north of 60 can still expect all the big-city amenities, with meeting facilities for up to 800 guests, coupled with truly spectacular scenery and of course those famous Northern Lights! The Yukon Convention Bureau will be glad to assist you in every way they can.

If your business trip occurs in the summer, consider a day of rafting or canoeing followed by a visit to one of our museums. Don't miss the Yukon's signature historic sites including the SS Klondike in Whitehorse and the impressive collection of historic properties in Dawson City. Enjoy a cappuccino and a relaxing riverfront walk, or rent a mountain bike to explore the trails around town.

Suggested weekend getaways for business travellers:

  • Join a raucous one-day rafting trip on the Tatshenshini River. If you want to get out on the water - but don't want to get wet - take a motorboat tour of the Yukon River.
  • Fly to Dawson City for two nights of gold fever fun. Spend your days exploring the Klondike's top attractions and enjoy evenings with live entertainment at Diamond Tooth Gertie's casino.
  • Rent a car and drive to Haines Junction, the village at the edge of Kluane National Park. Take a glacier flightseeing tour and enjoy easy hikes with breathtaking mountain scenery.

Not only is the Yukon ready-made for travel, it provides real investment opportunities as well.  For business or investment related inquiries visit:
